Goal is to get a new car - win condition is ownership of the car irl.For a card that requires significant preparation in the morning, the card could say something along the lines of "You may play this card, and no others during your upkeep phase, and any other changes to the field during your upkeep are nullified"). You could also play around with having certain cards playable at the expense over other resources (ex: Time. Play against the tarot deck with your personal deck, with the goal of achieving the win condition for that card - If you win, you may add that card to your deck. Then, create a card to represent the goal you are enchanting for.

Your deck would be full of things you enjoy, accomplishments that you're proud of or that bring some situational value, circumstances you can create for yourself, etc. I had this neat idea of having two decks for the game - one full tarot deck (or some other universal model), and one built to follow the same rules, full of symbols that are all personally significant (made to model you, your worldview, your potential, etc). I've drawn a few cards (nothing spectacular), but never a full deck. maybe ill only print one copy of that too.Īh yeah, that sounds like quite the project. I dont even care if anyone wants to buy it because I have a show. it would be SUPER KAWAI DESU to have my mirror tarot. so we bring everyone back in costume and act those out. Then, there's the small cards, which often have more than one person. everyone I love (all of them attractive) hate how they look and loathe being photographed. which is supposed to represent people in your life. now the tarot becomes a mirror to my soul, I am actually inside each card, and was standing there. but basically, My face on all the Majors, because they represent states of mind, so. and it will take the time/budget of a short film (even if done poorly). I plan to do a better "billybrujo" deck, but it's a serious photography project, and I have to get some people involved who will not want to pose. If you laminate them, it makes a nice shuffleable card. stock footage? Definetly for free, because all that shit is copyright/stolen. its mashed up from weird google/photoshop collage. so i ran into the "mana shortage" problem). I made this deck a long time ago based on this (and I only printed one. more strategy) you could make a "green deck" for example, and have all the major arcana be earth energy and all the small cards could be pentacles (minus the significators of the people you might want to be casting on), and this would make it so that you had access to the energy sources that you needed to cast the spells you wanted more regularly. If you had 4 tarot decks, you could "build a deck" (like in MTG. because in MTG you have a 4 card limit, you can only have 4 copies of any one card. This is why I said you may need to buy/fabricate 4 tarot decks in order to do this. You keep cards in your hand, and you play them strategically, instead of reading the tarot randomly. For example, you could put down some energy sources, and play your significator, and then cast 10 pentacles (wealth) on it. Maybe the same rules, but it just doesn't fit right. They have 2 associated elements, 2 zodiac signs, and 3 planets.

Not sure how to get the court cards into play. Each of the small cards has a planet and a zodiac sign (and an element), you would need 2 of the 3 keys to cast any spell. Each major has an associated element/planet/or/zodiac sign. My current "theory" is to take the attributions from 777. What I am unclear about right now is casting cost. Do you have any major arcana? Like land, you can put one into play each turn. So, instead of laying out the cards, keep those 7 cards in your hand.
(other info related stuff maybe too, newspaper, check email, etc) Upkeep: Shower, brush teeth, breakfast, etc.ĭraw: (draw 7 on day one), Draw one card.
The order of operations when taking your turn at least: (keep this separate from your "main altar") this would be a dedicated altar to this purpose, so find a nightstand in the trash and spray it black or something. the setup would be to make a small altar centered around a tarot deck, and a small clear space you could lay out some cards.
So, The Major arcana are "energy sources", the court are "creatures", the small cards are like "instants/sorceries/enchantments" 22 Majors, 16 court, 40 "small cards"Ģ0/40 is about the same distribution of "land" cards to "spells" in a "Magic: The Gathering" deck.
